Privacy Policy

What data this site handles, what it does not, and how third-party services on the site treat your visit.

HomePrivacy

NMI Gateway Guide is an independent informational reference. We do not collect personal information, do not host login forms, do not process payments, and have no accounts to sign in to. This policy describes the limited data that a normal web visit produces — server logs, optional analytics, and third-party advertising cookies — and how to control them.

What we collect directly

We do not run user accounts, contact forms that ask for personal data beyond an optional email for editorial corrections, or any payment processing. The only data the site itself receives is what any web server receives on a request:

Third-party cookies (advertising and analytics)

This site is supported by display advertising. The ad network and any analytics provider set their own cookies in your browser to measure and target ads. We do not control those cookies directly — they are governed by the third party's own privacy policy. Common practical effects:

If you object, you can opt out of personalized advertising through standard industry tools:

The /go/ redirect handler

When you click a link to the official NMI site (or USAePay), the click passes through a local redirect at /go/?to=.... That handler exists to clean the request: it returns a 302 response with a no-referrer policy and a noindex tag, so the destination receives no information about which page on this site you came from. It writes no cookies and stores no data on our side beyond the standard request log.

Children

The site is intended for business audiences (merchants, ISOs, software vendors). It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights — CCPA, GDPR, and similar

You may have rights under your local privacy law — to know what data we hold, request deletion, or opt out of certain processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts or stored profiles, requests typically amount to: (a) removing your message from our editorial-correspondence inbox if you sent one, or (b) blocking third-party advertising cookies through the controls above.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated as advertising or analytics providers change, or as law evolves. Material changes are dated in the JSON-LD metadata served with the page.
